Walk-ins are seen when the chair is free, but the day is planned around booked appointments. A quick call or WhatsApp message before you come saves the wait.

A conversation first, then an examination. You leave knowing what the treatment is, how many sittings it takes, and its fee — in a written plan — whether you decide to begin that day or think it over.

Fees depend on the diagnosis, so they are quoted in writing after examination — staged, where the treatment has stages. If cost is the deciding factor, say so at the consult; the plan can often be sequenced to spread it.

Months, not days — by design. The post is placed in one sitting, then given weeks to fuse with the jaw before the crown is fitted. Rushing the settling stage is how implants fail; the plan will show you the full timeline.

The treatment is done under local anaesthesia, and its purpose is to end pain, not cause it — most patients arrive with a tooth that already hurts. Some tenderness for a day or two afterwards is normal and settles.

Nearly. The trays are transparent and sit closely on the teeth; most people will not notice them in conversation or photographs. They are removed for meals and brushing.

Age alone rules out neither. What matters is the health of the teeth, gums and jaw — which the examination establishes — and, for aligners, wearing the trays as directed. Adults well into later life complete both treatments.

Every six to twelve months for most people. Small problems — a soft spot of decay, early gum trouble — are cheap and quick when caught at a check-up, and expensive when they announce themselves at midnight.

Any previous dental X-rays or reports if you have them, a list of medicines you take regularly, and your questions. Tell the doctor about diabetes, blood-pressure medication or allergies — they shape the plan.
